Ombudsman – Questions & Answers

Are you dissatisfied with the level of service provided?
Do you believe that a CKMA member’s approach was incorrect, or do you have a suggestion for improvement? Do you disagree with the outcome of a complaint? Contact our Ombudsman. He will review your case from your perspective and verify whether everything was handled correctly.

Who can contact the Ombudsman?
The Ombudsman’s services are available to all individuals and businesses. However, we are not omnipotent—your inquiry must relate to a company that is a CKMA member. You can find the Ombudsman’s official status and powers HERE.

How should you proceed if you want to raise a complaint?
The Ombudsman does not handle complaints directly but assesses whether they were processed correctly. Therefore, please first submit your complaint or grievance through the standard procedure of the respective company (i.e., contact the company’s complaint department in accordance with its terms and conditions).

Once submitted, the Ombudsman will independently review your case, propose a resolution, and initiate an internal discussion within ČKMA to help improve the services provided by our members.

He will always consider the issue from your point of view and communicate with you clearly to ensure you understand the process.
