The State and Future of the Crypto Industry in the Czech Republic

On April 11, 2023, ČKMA held a press conference to present an economic study on the state and potential of the crypto industry in the Czech Republic, considering current conditions and upcoming regulations that will set rules for handling crypto assets.
The study was authored by economists Lukáš Kovanda, Jan Šincl, and a team from the University of Economics in Prague. Lukáš Kovanda, Chief Economist at Trinity Bank, presented the study’s content and conclusions on behalf of all co-authors.

"The crypto industry could bring billions to the state budget in the coming years. It all depends on how the rules are set,"says Lukáš Kovanda.
