Protecting shared interests

Cryptocurrency entrepreneurs face extraordinary obstacles in their activities, unknown in other industries. To name but a few, cryptocurrency companies find it difficult - even impossible - to access mainstream banking services. This is a matter unprecedented in other industries.

The aim of the Czech Crypto Association is to bring together cryptocurrency companies, among other things, to advocate their common interests and to coordinate actions on behalf of members with counterparts such as various state authorities, industry organizations (e.g. CBA, CNB) and other entities, so that common goals are achieved and common interests of members are defended.

Unavailability of banking services

Sooner or later, most cryptocurrency entrepreneurs will encounter the problem of banking institutions being unwilling to open current accounts or otherwise denying them access to banking services without the ability to "appeal" or willingness to negotiate any terms.

These practices are not random incidents, but are essentially "widespread", affecting the entire cryptocurrency industry.

The ČKMA has become a prominent voice in this matter, which has begun to draw attention to the problem, and is also taking a number of steps that can lead to the elimination of the unsatisfactory situation and to the straightening of the conditions for doing business in the cryptocurrency industry so that they are comparable to other branches of economic activity and so that unfair discriminatory practices do not occur.
